Why Believing is So Hard and Nisoyon

Why should believing be so complicated, originally when Hashem gave the Torah they all saw and listened how Hashem said direct to them that he is God and they didn't have to believe but now after so many years its so hard to believe it's not so easy to believe that this is all true what happened so many years ago.

To the Questioner,
What we have passed down is that the reason that Hashem appeared openly at the time of the giving of the Torah, was in order to give people a starting point in order to believe in Hashem during all future generations.
The goal of this world is to show that Hashem is here even though we don't see Him
It is true that in these times, "the end of days", it is especially difficult to believe.
One way to improve one's belief that I found is to ask quietly for small things that you need each and every day. The request should be only between yourself and Hashem. If you don't expect and at the end the result that you were really asking for came true - that gives strength to know that someone was listening.
After doing this numerous times over the course of a month, it can help tremendously to increase belief that Hashem is here and it really is all true even what took place many years ago.
