can you read zachor t amalek to yourself if you stay at a hotel that not close to a sule ? can you read it from the chumash or it has to be read fro the torah? can you make your wife and your family yozeh by reading it to yourselves?

To the Questioner,
Parshas Zachor needs to be read from a sefer Torah, in a minyan.
It is therefore important to try to get to a Shul on Shabbas Zachor.
Alternatively, if you are far away from a Shul on Shabbos, if you and your family (women are also obligated to hear parshas Zachor) go to Shul on the morning of Purim and are present for the entire Torah reading [before the reading of the megillah], and you have in mind to fulfill your obligation of reading parshas Zachor, you can fulfill it with that reading [the war launched against amalek that is described in parshas B'shalach] according to the opinion of the Magen Avraham.
