לפני כמה עשרות שנים התגלה ר' דוד ומשה, צדיק שנפטר במרוקו, לאברהם בן חיים מצפת. מאותו יום חייו של אברהם השתנו, והוא הקדיש בביתו חדר מיוחד לצדיק.
דודו (דוד משה) כהן, שנקרא בעצמו על שם הצדיק, נסע לצפת, נפגש עם בן חיים - אדם מיוחד מדור שכמעט נכחד - ולא הפסיק להתרגש מהסיפורים המחזקים והמיוחדים על הצדיק.
